Fall is here!

Colorado Springs

So this is where we live now....we went for a hike this weekend at Garden of the Gods, which is a national landmark for the Springs. We've been there a couple of times already but I didn't have my nicer camera and I wasn't this distance back. It was a great opportunity to shoot it from afar. I have a few other pictures I can post from this trip where we hiked inside Garden of the Gods. I'll post those later. The girls had so much fun! I am loving that we are living here when they can do a lot of this fun stuff and really appreciate it. We're just now getting into ages of Kinsey and Avery when it's fun to do this stuff with them. It's not just work! And it's not blazing hot like a typical summer either.

Kinsey Lou Bug

There is a cool path to walk down behind our home here in the Springs. I may actually do some portrait sessions there because I've found some spots that would look great. When Andy was at work this week, I took the girls to take a few pictures on this bridge. Kinsey is looking so grown up. We've recently looked back at some of her baby pictures and it is crazy that she's 5 1/2 now. She is such a mature and sweet little girl. This fall she will start kindergarten. She will actually be doing a mix of home schooling and going through our school system here. I'm excited about that for her. We have a classroom downstairs with a big chalkboard, real school desks, and tables. When I went to school to be a teacher, I knew I would get to work with some great kids, but who would've guessed I would choose to teach the most important children in my life....ours! She's super excited!

18 months

She's 18 months old today! What a quick 18 months!! Evangeline is such a sweet baby. We visited a church here in the Springs this past weekend and even the lady in the nursery commented on how loving she is. Andy's favorite part of his day must be coming in the door after work and Evangeline running to him. She gives kisses and snuggles her little head up next to yours when you hold her.

Oh Rockers!

I wonder what Rocky thinks about our house at the moment. Everywhere he looks all he can see are boxes. I'm guessing he's thinking, "Here we go again." 

Every time we move, it's always funny to watch him as we are getting settled because he's getting settled too. He finds his little nooks and crannies in the new place (inside and out). 

Oh this little dog...what would I do without him???!!!

Texas Sunshine

Our Texas Home

We have loved living in this house! Really such a breath of fresh air after the "rental".  I love everything about it....even the teeny tiny kitchen. I am in LOVE with all the natural light that comes in through the windows all the way around the perimeter.  I actually was able to do some studio work in the living room with all the natural light, which was really nice. As excited as I am to head towards CO, It will be sad to drive away from this house. The good news is we're going to keep it and rent it out. Hopefully that goes well! 

Here are some pictures of our home. We listed it in the rental market today and so it's nice picture ready. Figured I better take some pictures while Evangeline is asleep because as soon as she wakes up, it will look like a little Tazmanian ran through here.

I didn't get any pictures of the 1/2 bath, which is kinda pretty too. I actually like the pedastal sink.
